Graduation recording session

Here is a video of Peter Carter and myself in a recording session for level 10 graduation. He is playing the Mozart Concerto #20, first movement. I am playing the orchestra reduction for him. This was recorded on March 9, 2009. Peter will perform with orchestra for the Atlanta Area Suzuki Piano Association Graduation Concerts on May 31.
All the best to Peter!

Katie at home-Brahms Intermezzo in A major op. 118#3-the complete version

This was published previously, but stopped after the first half. Katie's mother sent me this new one. Now you can hear the complete piece. I love this video because I didn't see it when it was first recorded around three years ago, and only saw it a couple months ago. It is great to have a recording that was made just for fun and not only for a graduation, concert audition, lesson or some other reason. Perhaps this will inspire some parents to record their children and save it for posterity!

2000 10 Piano Concert Matsumoto- Sonata K545 2nd mvt, Mozart/Gulda-Martin Hunt

2003 10 Piano Concert -Chopin Polanaise

This performance holds special memories for many people as it was the last piece performed on the 10 Piano Concert held 2 month's before Dr. Kataoka's death. Dr. Kataoka was very moved by this performance and you can see her come out from backstage to play the bow chord several times at the the end of the piece. It was and continues to be very inspiring.
